Day 5 and Counting!

In five days 41 disciples of Jesus Christ will board a plane (well actually 3 planes) and head to Israel to walk on the same ground as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On Monday 1/21/13 we will travel to Des Moines, then Chicago, then Newark, then Tel-Aviv Israel.

Our first destination is Jerusalem and our first hotel is the Olive Tree.

 

But as we prepare we pack and re-pack. And we ask ourselves and each other:
What do I take?
What do I leave?
What will I need?
What is the weather like?
How much does my suitcase weigh?
Did I leave enough room to bring back things?

I created this blog to allow our family and friends not only know that we are all ok, but also so you can all see some of the things we are doing. So hang on becaue it's going to be an exciting trip. Wish you all could be with us, but I guess this will have to be the next best thing.

Know that we love you all and will be holding you close in our hearts as we travel.
